About Notes from the Second Life
Hi, I’m Sparkle Lee.
I’ve always loved getting dressed, noticing details, and paying attention to what feels good—visually, emotionally, and in life. This space originally began as a place to talk about style and self-expression, but like most meaningful things, it evolved as I did.
Notes from the Second Life is where I now write from this season of my life.
I’m still living fully—working, traveling, loving, showing up for my family—but I’m also intentionally designing what comes next. Not from urgency. Not from burnout. From clarity.
This publication is a thinking space.
Here, I write about:
Reinvention without pressure
Style as discernment, not consumption
Letting go of the timelines that no longer fit
Giving yourself permission to do what serves you
Career identity, womanhood, and seasonal shifts
Planning a second life without rushing the present one
Some posts connect to my YouTube series, The Second Life. Others are quiet reflections—things I’m noticing, reframing, or choosing differently as I move through this chapter to who I’m becoming.
This isn’t a “how-to” blog.
It’s not a weekly performance.
And it’s not about perfection.
It’s about paying attention to the details.
If you’re someone who’s doing well on paper but feels called to live and plan more intentionally, you’re welcome here.
I’m not here to convince you to change your life.
I’m here to explore what happens when you stop forcing it, and plan what happens next with intention.

About paid subscriptions (coming later)
At some point, I may introduce a paid tier for readers who want deeper reflections, audio versions, or access to archived content. There’s no rush—this space is unfolding slowly and intentionally.
For now, I’m simply glad you’re here.
My appreciation
Thank you for being part of this community, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding your way in. I look forward to sharing this space with you.
